Frugal Friday

I have been Searching for a bench to put in the Master Bath of a clients home.  They don't want to spend a ton of money...it's going in the bathroom for goodness sake, a beautiful bathroom, but bathroom none the less. I've been looking EVERYWHERE!  I have a certain size restraint to deal with and  I have been searching FOREVER with no luck

This would be perfect IF it were the right size....leather top could easily be changed, but I do love the red.

The bench I had as my concept was this iron bench.

I think for a bathroom we could settle for the O stock if only it fit!

On another note, did you happen to notice the poster above the red bench?  I purchased that same poster from Ikea for if I remember around $10.  Nothing special, it's a map of NYC.  I wanted to get something like this

and this is what I did...

I purchased 4x4 frames at Ikea, for $4.00 for a set of three.  I cut the poster and fitted each cut in the frame.  I'll tell you, I am NOT the handiest person in the world but it was rather easy and took about an hour.  The hardest part was hanging it correctly.  I cheated and used Velcro.  But for a total of around $25 I love the look!
